Self-care Arts
Taking care of yourself. Nurturing yourself. Supporting yourself.
I facilitate the transmission of self-healing knowledge, which encourages
and strengthens your will to listen to and heal yourself.
This empowerment includes learning to take responsibility for your body and health.
Most of us have been raised and educated to turn outwards for help in times of difficulty and distress. Sometimes, this is the right choice. However, if we constantly turn to external help, we’re likely to forget our inherent ability to heal ourselves and maintain our health.
In the years I’ve focused on the art of feminine healing, I’ve remembered this ability and its crucial place in our healing processes.
When I’m connected to my capacity for self-healing, I feel better. I experience a profound, steady empowerment that supports my giving the same qualities to other women; I’m an open conduit for healing that passes through me.
Nurturing oneself and devotedly and consistently making time and space
for this – is the beginning of self-care.
We constitute a wholeness that consists of various bodies –
the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
These bodies combine and intertwine, affecting each other.
This realization leads to various gateways that enable us to connect and activate our
healing powers. Thus, self-care tools are diverse.
Following are several examples of self-care arts I’ve experienced in my life:
*The arts that are embodied through the physical gateway – dance, Yoga, breast massage,
uterine massage, Yoni (vagina) massage, work with a Jade egg.
*The arts that are embodied through the emotional and conscious gateway – creative writing, guided visualization and a conscious psychotherapeutic process.
*The arts that are embodied through the spiritual gateway – meditation and energy work (healing).
This is a profound invitation to restore responsibility to ourselves.
Responsibility for our health.
For our wellbeing.
For the way in which we listen to, connect with and respond to our needs.
This is a gentle, meaningful learning of the unique connections between the worlds of the body, emotion, consciousness and spirit, experiencing a self-empowerment process.
Every path or gateway we choose for ourselves supports our wellbeing and health, which enables us to give to the world around us from a more open, stable and generous state of being.
There is a wide variety of paths and gateways that offer possibilities of self-care.
I invite you to learn and deepen into the following feminine arts
